Our story
Anahata is the heart chakra
In Sanskrit it is the centre — the point where balance sits. It is also why the logo is a tree with a heart for a canopy.
The name
Relax. Reconnect. Respect.
Three words the owners put at the bottom of everything they print, and a fair description of what the place asks of you. Relax, because there is genuinely nothing to do. Reconnect, because there is no Wi-Fi to stop you. Respect, because the bush here was here first.
The resort sits on a ridge in Broederstroom, above the Hartbeespoort Dam and under the Magaliesberg. Four self-catering cabins, a braai at each, and a wood-fired splash pool per unit. That is the whole operation — it is run by the people who own it.

Formerly Jumanji
Same ridge, same cabins, new name
The resort traded as Jumanji Nature Resort before becoming Anahata. If you stayed here under the old name, or find it still listed that way on a booking site, it is the same place and the same owners.
Honestly
What Anahata is not
Not a hotel
No reception, no restaurant, no room service. You let yourself in and you cook your own breakfast.
Not a resort in the big sense
Four cabins. On a full weekend there might be a dozen people on the whole property.
Not off-road
The last stretch is dirt and it needs care after rain, but an ordinary car gets here perfectly well.
Come and see it
